THE POWER TO SEE

Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the LORD.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it. – 2 Kings 22:8

Legends has it that ancient Greek mathematician, Archimedes, screamed, ‘Eureka’ (I’ve found it) when he discovered the theory of buoyancy while having his bath.

In science, a breakthrough is ‘a sudden advance, especially in knowledge or technique. Spiritually, it is called ‘revelation. Revelation is when God opens your spirit mind and faculties to perceive new information that was hidden from you. God wants to open your mind to new ideas. He will release the spirit of revelation and creativity upon you and stir you up to do awesome things to His glory.

Like Archimedes, your ‘Eureka’ moment may come at a time you do not expect it. Just out of the blue, God can drop revelatory insights into your spirit. For some people, their moment will come after years of struggling to find answers and then, just like that, they will find the answers that have eluded them all these years. Whatever form it takes, you will have your own breakthrough in revelation.

When everyone is stuck in a dry hole and complaining about how tough things are, God will open your eyes to fresh water. He will give you Divine wisdom to solve perplexing problems. When you have come to the end of your own abilities, the Lord will open up new things for you. When all seems lost, God will open your spirit up to new ideas. Revelation, Creative ideas, Divine insight, Mental illumination, Clarity of mind and Inventions.

These are things that God wants to upload into your life in this New Year. Stay in touch with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to drop Heaven’s ideas into your spirit.

Prayer: Lord, I open my spirit up to new revelations from Your Holy Spirit.
